well, i finally got some inspiration, and i got it from this: [link]
i was thinking about a bullpup SCAR-H, but couldn't imagine how to make it. then, after a few days i saw this. unfortunately i was busy with other things, as well as other guns that needed to be competed. also, i couldn't imagine how to make my own version of it. it happens that yesterday, i took a look at that again and it was like if an idea suddenly dropped into my head. i stopped working on a rocket launcher i was currently working at and started making the weapon. i tried to keep it as SCAR-esque looking as possible, yet still making it a bit different.

yes, i know it looks like crap, but that's what i could do with it.

MS Paint was used for words and for the "boxes" dividing the guns. the guns themselves are 100% PMG.

now for a proper description:
.......................................................................................................

the SCARPUP (Special operations Combat Assault Rifle, bullPUP) is basically an FN SCAR rifle converted to a bullpup layout. as well as its predecessor, it features a Light and a Heavy version, chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 7.62x51mm NATO respectively. it uses the same front foldable iron sight as the original SCAR, using the former gas block and front sight mount as a sight mount only. the gas block is now positioned a little behind, at the same distance from the bolt as the original SCAR gas block was.
it re-uses many of the parts of the original SCAR-H with minor modifications. a new firing system and fire selector were added.
the fire selector uses the famous and easy-to-use markings commonly used by other USBN Defense System products.
white circle: Safety.
Red circle: Semi-automatic fire.
two red circles: 3-round burst fire.
three red circles: Fully automatic fire.

it also features a new, bigger magazine release button and a new charging handle.
an interesting feature is the ability to put a flashlight or small laser sight inside the handguard, much like some MP-5 handguards.
the free space on the stock stores the cleaning kit and whatever the operator stuffs inside it. for a bigger capacity, the "hole" in the stock, which function is to mount rifle slings, can be cut out and replaced with two plates, allowing for more free space for storage.
its controls, such as the charging handle, magazine release button and fire selector, are fully ambidextrous, except for one: the bolt release catch. this one is located on the left side of the weapon only, but it is not necessary for proper operation of the rifle, as the bolt "locking" can be manually "overrided" by simply pressing the charging handle backwards (when it locks, there is still a small space for it to be pulled a bit more backwards. if the shooter does so, the bolt catch will release from the bolt and then when the charging handle is released it will go forward again, just like in a normal pull of the charging handle, thus chambering the next round.).
the rifle can be field disassembled without use of tools, as its main parts are held by telescoping push-pins.

the rifle has multiple variants:

"Heavy" variants:

SCARPUP-H (Heavy): the standard "Heavy" Variant. features a longer, heavy barrel.
SCARPUP-HTAC (Heavy TACtical): same as the SCARPUP-H, but with an extra set of rails in the handguard.
SCARPUP-HG (Heavy Grenadier): same as the SCARPUP-H, but with a 40mm grenade launcher instead of a handguard.
SCARPUP-HL (Heavy Long barrel): features an even longer barrel. the whole weapon has the same lenght as a normal SCAR-H.
SCARPUP-HC (Heavy Carbine): the carbine version. recycles the barrel from the original SCAR-H.
SCARPUP-HCTAC (Heavy Carbine TACtical): same as the SCARPUP-HC, but with an extra set of rails in the handguard.

"Light" variants:

SCARPUP-L (Light): the standard "Light" variant. features a longer, heavy barrel.
SCARPUP-LTAC (light TACtical): same as the SCARPUP-L, but with an extra set of rails in the handguard.
SCARPUP-LG (Light Grenadier): same as the SCARPUP-L, but with a 40mm grenade launcher instead of a handguard.
SCARPUP-LL (Light Long barrel): features an even longer barrel. the whole weapon has the same lenght as a normal SCAR-L.
SCARPUP-LC (Light Carbine): the carbine version. recycles the barrel from the original SCAR-L.
SCARPUP-LCTAC (Light Carbine TACtical): same as the SCARPUP-LC, but with an extra set of rails in the handguard.

according to the costumer's wishes, the rifle is also available in other calibers, such as 6.8mm Remington SPC, .300 AAC Blackout, .458 SOCOM, .500 Beowulf and many others. in these cases, the rifle can recieve three "variant indication" letters ( such as L for "Light" and H for "Heavy"):

LS (Light, Special): if the lower reciever of the "Light" variant was used.
HS (Heavy, special): if the lower reciever of the "Heavy" variant was used.
S (Special): if a completely new lower/upper reciever had to be designed or if they had to be significantly modified.

the SCARPUP is currently being issued to the 53th, 95th, 47th, 1st, 56th and 81th Combat Prototype Tests battalions. it is already undergoing field and combat tests, a common practice in the United States of Brazilian Nations. the rifle has performed extremely well in all kinds of environments and it is expected to become one of the standard battle and assault rifles of the USBN to suplement the FAL MOD IV and the FA03A2, the latter currently being considered for further modernization. an FA03A3 version is currently being planned.

it is also expected that the rifle will be soon available for exports at USBN Defense Systems, as soon as other designs and a general reform at the store are completed.

(NOTE: of course, United States of Brazilian Nations is my nation in NationStates, and USBN Defense Systems is my storefront.)

so, this is it! remember to add a comment, and enjoy!

man, i end almost all my posts with that... i think i've got some serious lack of creativity. :P
